I agree as is the difference between a Playstation or 360 controller and a real gun. As a parent you teach them and hopefully not the game. but I feel they can learn more about the finality of death from a game then a nerf gun(maybe not GTA) but there are lessons to be learned from every experience. The thing is with the controller they can afford mistakes and take things at their pace. As long as they are taught that real life is a little... a lot different by the parent.

I belive the stats were somewhere close to 4000 crimes nationally in 1994 but with growing popularity of games especially violent ones it has decreased to under 100 this last year. I was not a fan myself. I have been through extensive military weapons courses and been to many a ranges even a 2 way range or 2. I agree this beta has problems. It's cool though. With a game as fast paced a Warhawk it does. Honestly in a game like Drakes fortune or Gears it wouldn't be a big deal but because of pacing it would be an issue because of the pacing.... As in it's not a fast paced game so you could get by just fine but if it's not a fast paced game it should not have those issues... Warhawk is like other games that require 'Twitch' reactions. I believe its no worse then movies or cartoons that depict violence and crimes. Is stealing ok? Most would say no but it depends on whats behind the reason for stealing in my opinion and who your stealing from... If your baby sister is starving and you steal a loaf of bread I wont ever knock you...
I have said it before and i will say it again. Have you read Grand theft childhood? It's an amazing read and honestly you should educate yourself more before jumping to conclusions... I think with proper supervision anyone can play it so long as they themselves don't have some kind of instability. They can see it in movies and read it in books. Whats wrong with a gaming medium? Truth is dude when this generation has kids they will look at their son or daughter playing a game where they feel body parts hit them as people explode as they play a game inside a bubble and feel blood splatter across their face and everyone of this gen will be going "OMG What are these sim cells doing to our kids!!!!"
