Great SP campaign. It's fairly cheap right now as well. There are a good amount of people online. however many are waiting for the current patch to release. My roommate and I still play and there are quite a few peeps online as well. Not anything like most games these days but for a nearly 10 year old game thats pretty good. =D
Ok Think about you being in the center of your screen. Now put your mouse all the way to the right side. Move it all the way to the left/top/bottom and all 4 corners. How long would it them to make a way for a controller to do that. you need to be able to switch targets very rapidly. It's not a "Your in the general direction" its a "Click on the guy to kill him" and when there is 50 mobs on all sides doing different thing and you have to be precise with your kill otherwise...
I agree with arsenal. It's home is on battle net and I have been following this game a lot more then the author of this junk has imo. The mouse/ keyboard is just a better fit. It makes sense... I can't see how they would do it well with analog sticks.
THIS IS BLIZZARD. It wont be coming to consoles...
Oh yeah bro I did enjoy it and hey I didn't want to come off like your a fan boy. You can only have 1 console right now then thats cool. Gamers first before brand loyalty.
just for my 2 cents added I feel Halo has evolved mainly due to the large amount of money people have put into it and not because it was deserving really... I mean hell look at Resident Evil 5. If that game had any other title it would have gotten solid 6's instead of 8-9's. But thats my opinion as well =D. Br...
You seem to have a very console oriented mindset in your blog. Mainly a 360 one but thats besides the point...
A good game can come in any form. Tetris is a good example of a game that doesn't need to be flashy to be good. however the dividing line between good and great is a long gap. Graphics, Innovation, Replay and originality are all key to this. God of War for example had all of these in abundance. Before QTE's were popular at all it started them and made them amazing. It l...
16 bit HD ftw!!!!
@ Crazy.
unless it's PSN titles. like fat princess.
@ air 1
let me break down your comment a piece at a time.
"almost every game has some kinda similar aspect to it but that doesnt mean that it cant be a game of it's own."
The comment I was refering to was "Never played ANYTHING like it." There are a lot of things like it.
"i mean what are you saying that because we played gauntlet etc. means that we should never ever play another game that is remotely like it?" ...
@ halo
"Dead Rising anybody??? I never played any game like that before."
In what way? State of emergency, Gauntlet, GTA, Onimusha, Crackdown, Saints row, even Super mario in some ways... I mean no 2 games are exactly the same but I can see plenty of similarities to other games depending on how you look at it. Take San Andreas. Get a 5 star wanted level and see how much silliness you can cause...
"And Lost Planet was also a great new franc...
Super Stardust HD was downright awesome.
Exactly what I was going to say. People act like WoW was original in anyway... It just made a good balance of casual/hardcore that others missed. And cartoony graphics that many thought attractive...
Coolrah I think Outlaws point is sound. There is nothing wrong with being a fanboy. I am a huge Sony fanboy. I really don't care though what some guys on the intervbez think about that. I feel like I do present a good argument and very few can counter my points. I am a fanboy with knowledge and ammo unlike many others who use made up facts and can't back up what they say.
If you want to be a fanboy then be one. nothing wrong with that. Hell see my blog history you might like my ...
/shrug. It's just PR talk. How many times have we heard this and been dissapointed? I lost count 12 years ago...
Kill Crow
I am one of the biggest Sony Fanboys on this site.
I never said there would be. Matter of fact I think they have dropped it too low. I bought mine for 600 and glad I did(BC and all) but for what you get out of the box it is a hell of a deal. However people wont see that without advertisement and such. I do think Sony's advertisement campaign is pretty poor. Still though I don't care about prices of consoles and how many sell. Look at the list of games I'll...
My PC can run crysis on high... So yeah...
/Shrug. No idea why bro. It's the way it goes... people don't look to reviews all that much to approve like news... I might be getting it. no idea yet.
TFU is the force unleashed. But thanks for the heads up bro.
I wouldn't say very select Charlie. There are a lot of MMO's that are very old with support still coming. i.e. Guild wars, LOTRO, City of hero's/villans, EQ, EQ2, and plenty of new games with lots of potential like WAR and Darkfall.
The problem with WoW is people who play it are usually more casual. You get the hardcore but I would rate it with the Wii in that view. There are hardcore gamers that play the Wii. However compared to overall when compared to casual there aren't many....
I agree with you thor. For the most part I have been following D3 pretty heavily. My roommate and I still play 2. If they dumb the game down for consoles I wont be buying it and I can guarantee a vast majority of their fanbase will dump it too. If console owners do pick it up it will be a "Flavor of the week" game for them "You mean I need to log about 2000 hours to reach a high level" attitudes... console gamers don't see that this isn't a 'buy, play, return' game. You ha...
