I am a veteran. I have to say I don't personally like these commercials... It kinda tries to take to much reality into gaming. Video games and War are nothing alike. I have fired my weapon at people in real life and been shot at and had friends die in combat. I look at "Band of Brothers" and the interviews with the WWII vets in the begining is real. These are well done but... Really hit home to something that should not be in games I think. This is nothing against Halo or anything X...
Bad PR for gaming companies most likely. He would turn around and use it against them somehow. Use it and make gaming companies look bad I'm sure he would find a way to spin it.
Did someone really say uncharted was gonna be only like 10 hours of gameplay? Just curious cause if so that will kinda dissapoint me. I like short games. Gameinformers whole story on how ICO was great beacause it was so short is good... I however would like a game that I can't beat in 1 sitting.... Seems many games are going this way. I hope Halo has more then 8 hours like this suggests as well. The other review looked more on par where he suggested about 12 hours...
No matter what system you like or games you play. We can all agree this guy is a douche. I almost wish I could see the world through his eyes just to understand what his major malfunction is... Yes and no... Why both? Cause we dont know the size yet. Things like every skin on each of snakes weapons, Each Character model, If there are repeated areas, Each musical score. The entire game engine will have to be done for however many disc's there are.
i.e. 1 BR= 1 Model of a M16A2 3DVD's= 3 M16A2 Models.... Same with every person, Place and the whole gaming engine... Thats kinda why BR is needed cause it may need more then 3 DVD's in that sense... W...
I agree but... Why not just watch animal planet? I mean this kinda stuff is for the wii right? Educational and well... While I like the playground idea. I like the mauling idea even more. Thats why I own a PS3...

I agree to a point. For example Conan. One of my favorite franchises since I was a kid... I feel they are gonna screw this up with an early release. Home... It can be patched and fixed if its released early. It's not like they can't expand it. I'm sure it will mutate a ton over PS3's life cycle.
All I personally want is a schedule that can be stuck too. Why not just say "It will be done when its done but we are shooting for XX/XX/XX"? Makes it easier. GTA4, Home, Hal...

I am a huge Sony fan. Really. I never liked the MGS games though except the one on PSone... The color scheme in this game is really unappealing to me. In the gameplay trailer and the cutscenes. I hate how everything is green and brown. I like color. Thats why I love HS and am stoked for Ratchet and clank... This is all my opinion. I think the game has way too many cutscenes for my liking. Ima buy it for sure just to make sure... I have 1,2 and 3. There were some great points in the games like...
I'm a sony fan and I agreed with you. Halo does have good gameplay. Just for me not enough replay. Freaking guys jumping all over the place and going in circles jumpimg... Kinda not how I want a FPS... To me its like killing those guys in Bioshock that are all over the damn place all the time... Gets old quick to me. Hopefully KZ2 has good online. I liked Gears online for that reason as well. But I do agree with you on the whole nothing new thing.
