Lol maybe you should branch out to more reviews than just Eurogamer. Just sayin
When did I ever say that?
I wanted to give him a little push off that lift going up to the mountain top lol talkin shit on his mom and everything
I gotta read the review because I'm not understanding how it could be a step back...?
Edit: after reading it seems he means that it's a step back because of the bugs? He doesn't really explain that statement at all. I'm not sure how a game that expands on everything from the original and which he states "At its core, this is very much a State of Decay game, so as someone who thoroughly enjoyed the original, I did find myself truly enjoying the sequel. T...
7/10 seems about right. I'm okay with that. First game was a ton of fun despite it's issues and this game seems to expand on the first but keep the jank. Too bad they didn't fix more before the review copies went out, but still looks like a ton of fun.
If you played the first and enjoyed it, there is not reason why you shouldn't pick this one up as well and enjoy it.
There are also 13 other sites without Xbox in the name that gave it positive scores... but yeah lets not point those out.
Also it's not like there aren't a bunch of PS4/Sony or Nintendo biased sites always giving their games inflated reviews...
@CP_Company
Did I piss in your cereal this morning? lol damn
I don't always suck M$ dick, I just don't habitually hate everything single thing they do like most of you guys on here.
@trooper
I'm counting about 13 positive reviews that didn't come from a review site that has "achievements" or "Xbox" in the name.
That's also not counting the positive reviews on YouTube from people like ACG who also recommended it and what not.
Also what are you considering a "bad" score? I'm pretty much okay with 7's and above for majority of games which it also has plenty of...
It's not like they are the ONLY ones giving it a good score or recommending it...
He had a pretty glowing review, very informative and completely unbiased. It's interesting to see how polarizing the game is. Some are absolutely ravaging it for some technical issues, while others are saying the issues are there, but the game is still a ton of fun.
Sounds like the first game!
This isn't first party.
If you want, watch some twitch gameplay. It's not nearly as bad as some are making it out to be.
Not sure why everyone was expecting a AAA masterpiece out of a $30 game and only the second game this dev has ever made. Oh well, it seems to be delivering EVERYTHING actual fans want from it, so I'm happy. Hopefully it gets a couple patches to iron out the performance tho.
I'll be jumping in tonight! Been waiting for this game for a while!
Yeah if it's just some glitches with the animations or physics, no way it should be getting docked so hard.
If it's actual nasty bugs and game breaking shit then absolutely deserves a beating.
I think some are forgetting this is just a $30 title from a relatively small and green dev. Seems like there is some issues with co-op as well as far as glitches and performance, but I'm hoping some timely patches can fix that. Or even the day one patch....
I absolutely love the first game and i expect no different from this one, but i would never say GotY and I don't think I have seen anyone say that lol
Yeah I think the added scope and co-op really got away from them and they weren't able to make it a smooth experience. Hopefully some patches can come in soon to make it more stable. Not sure why they would give review codes before they squashed bigger bugs and just delay it a month or so. Ah well, what can ya do?
I loved the first, so I can't imagine I won't like this one, but game breaking bugs are always a reason to score it low for sure. Don't blame any...
Lol I own a PS4 Pro with PSVR... but okay. If I didn't own a PS4 and play these games, why would I make a list of my favorite PS4 exclusives?
@UCFORCE
Seriously dude... it's like you just say shit without thinking or at least doing a basic Google search
Like the first game, I'm sure it's just fine.
