Actually it's pretty easy to see the differences.

Well Overkill is the top selling game on Steam right now, so that's something at least.

But the tutorial isn't JUST a tutorial. It is setting up all the characters, the plot, the events leading up to the current plot. Explaining your key enemies as well as telling you how to play. Plus, it isnt 5 hours until you set up your camp and have free roam. More like 2-3.

"that's the thing - you shouldn't really have to be forced to do any of that outside of healing yourself before/during/after a combat sequence."

If you're eating before/during/after combat then you will probably never be "Forced" to eat. There is no managing really, it's as quick as selecting a weapon in your wheel selector. Also managing your horse is mostly after fights or a long journey where you're sprinting fast you may need to f...

Yeah wireless VR is just now in its infancy. So it's possibly too soon or too late into the PSVR2's development to do it. Either way I'm excited to see what Sony brings. If they do a $1k PS5/PSVR2 bundle I'll absolutely jump in

Huh? Because you need to eat? Just act like it's a med pack instead of food... you can go a while without needing to eat something and food is pretty easy to come by

Am I bummed that it's not Diablo 4? Yes. Is it worth getting that upset about? No.

I'll try Immortals, and if it's fun then I have an easy time killer in my pocket. If it sucks, I move on.

If Sony comes out with a cordless headset that uses a signal adapter built into ps5 and get full degrees of motion as well as controllers that sense individual fingers... they could easily steal the VR market.

But they also need to keep cost somewhat low. Will be interesting to see.

I remember this at E3, but it was such a small teaser that I figured it was going to be a 2019 game. I don't remember seeing a release date or any other news. Hell, I didn't even know it released!

While agree with most of this, your first paragraph is just silly. Sony should have had the foresight to program a registration system that uses ID's and screen names separately. This is a pretty standard system that has been in place since dial up internet.

Yes, blame is also on the dummies who picked dumb names, but having the ability to change your screen name is elementary when creating a network. If they thought about this before hand then fixes like this wouldn...

The Black Desert Xbox One beta starts this month. In fact I think it is this week.

I think Ashen and Below are still shooting for a 2018 date.

How else did you expect them to travel in that time? There is also fast travel, carriages and trains that will take you to all the major towns.

You must have ran through pretty quickly then. I'm 30 hours in and only like 29% done.

There is fast travel, and the train, and the carriages to help you get around quickly.

You can't do as you please. You can't copy them and distribute it to friends.

The truth is, you don't own any media, just the disc it came on.You're essentially spending upwards of $60 or more for the rights to play, listen or view the media. It does not mean you own the game, song or movie because that is copyrighted and owned by the publisher or developer. Even with discs it's easy enough for them to send an update to your console and block you from ever accessing the content that is on that disc. It can be done, but will it? I highly doubt it. Ya'll ...

@rain

Exactly, if something legal or whatever happens to where they need to completely remove all traces of a game... It's not just going to be digital only. It will be for physical discs as well. The only way to avoid either is to have your system not connected to the net, which is unlikely. I highly doubt either option will happen and if it does it will be met with severe backlash.

What people don't understand is that buying any form of media do...

You know the same thing can happen with discs, right? The only way to avoid anything like this would be to be completely offline. it's as simple as Sony sending out a DRM update to block you from using that disc.
