That's because MK8 was already 1080p 60fps on Wii U... the handheld screen only outputs in 720p soooo that's why there is the difference.
For example Zelda only goes up to 900p docked...
All the dock does is switch off the screen and upclocks the system... there is no way in hell that some upclocking isn't going to double the frames... it can raise the resolution, but the frames is a loooooong shot.
The Switch docked only gives it a slight upclock... hardly enough to push out double the frames haha
The reason they are showing it on handheld is because it will probably looks like shit on a 60" tv when the resolution drops down to 540p when shit gets hectic.

Framerate docked will be the same, but probably just more stable and less dips in the dynamic resolution. DF was saying it dips down in the 540p range and could go lower...
The dock only slightly over clocks the system so you may just see a more stable resolution and 30fps.

Hasn't uncharted had microtransactions in their MP for the last couple games now? I even remember there being a p2w weapon in UC3. It was some sort of special grenade launcher or some shit you could buy.
