I think you're jumping the gun there on following you the entire adventure, you have absolutely no idea if that's the case.

Combat is awful imo.
Constantly monitoring meters ruins emersion and fun factor. Enemies animate and attack very fast while you are terribly slow and clunky.

I would give Alien isolation a 2/10.
That game is pure booty hole.
