Got my copy yesterday from Shopto in the UK. It's good so far, very much Dead Space in everything but name, not finding it particularly scary so far though.
It seems logical to me that it would be performing better in sales. The Xbox One and PS4 have been on the market for a longer period of time than the Switch so it's likely that many people may already have those consoles which allows the Switch to sell largely unimpeded.
For me personally I bought my PS4 at launch and never needed to buy another, then I got an Xbox a few year after and finally at a much later date, got a Switch.
Putting my hat in the running now that Clank is thrown into a past without Ratchet. Dr Nefarious took over the universe in a time line where Ratchet doesn't exist so there's no possibility of him ruining his plans. It could explain why this female Lombax has never heard of the galaxy wide famous hero, I wonder if Clank lands on the Lombax home world and if she is possibly Ratchet's mother. Maybe this change in history is not a change at all but the actual course of events that lea...
I actually had a lot of fun with it and didn't experience any of the massive bugs other people did. I guess I got lucky.
Why do they need to have had a reason to go with a female character?
Seems like it could be with a name like that, since you used to have to resist exposure to the virus in those Outbreak games. Thinking about it, it could explain why they needed people to test it as well. As far as I know they don't typically put out testing calls like that for single player games.
Unlucky for me, I just bought it a few days ago.
Loved that game as a kid, remember asking my parents to rent it for me a few times.
He's not really a coward just for being afraid. He always sticks around to finish the job, despite his fear.
I review them when I play them, doesn't matter how old a game is. Chances are there are still those who have yet to play.
I'd just like to point out that late in the game when the hordes are in your mission tracker they all do indeed have bars indicating the overall size. Personally I prefered when they didn't have them because it had that element of "have I got them all, is it safe?". Also I encountered glitches where if I killed the horde before the bar appeared, I had to repeat it, in itself it's not so bad since it makes it feel like an extra big horde. It was a bummer though wasting a ...
I wouldn't have minded that, I want to give it a go but not sure it's worth buying.
Freakers aren't zombies though. In some ways they have hive mentality, attacking in groups and building nests and such, they're even intelligent enough to dodge and counter your attacks. Also, just last night I observed some going to a lake to drink water, I've never seen any zombie behave like that.
The tag line for Dark Souls is prepare to die, I feel like that's a pretty good indication of the difficulty.
I'm terrible at those kinds of games and I get frustrated by the camera and cheap deaths by the dodgy hit detection. Usually I go back and keep trying, thinking maybe this time I can do it and sure enough I manage to overcome it after letting my frustration cool off.
I just think he's a nuisance, he's easily avoidable and just serves to make certain sections take longer than they should, the library for example. He serves no real threat throughout and his fight is one of the easier ones.
I think RE 5 & 6 catch a lot of flack, I really enjoyed both of them. RE6 especially, was fantastic value for money.
They might have been bad horror games but as games in general, they were great.
I reckon it's the expectation that makes it worse for some people but if you enjoy them for what they are and not what you want them to be, you'll have more fun.
Their only real problem was being Resident Evil games. If they sold under a different name, perha...
The first person camera raises questions about Ethan, why do they try so hard to not let you see his face?
Even when you have an opportunity to do so, you can't get a good look.
Makes me wonder if they went first person to hide his identity.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS.
What's his deal?
Why is he seemingly infected yet resistant to the infection?
Would he have looked familiar, perhaps like a Wesker?
Who is he...
Why do they compare Crash Team Racing to Mario Kart when Diddy Kong Racing is much similar?
Realism like crimes being instantly reported when the witnesses are no where near sheriff's offices, or being accused of murder when you knock someone out in self defence.
I'm enjoying it but Dead Space constantly looming over it makes The Callisto Protocol feel worse by comparison. For one thing the sound direction doesn't seem as good and for another, aside from jump scares, there's no real fear factor.
On top of that, it's lacking in things that Dead Space had. The Grip, for example, doesn't function as well as the Kinesis Module, you can't use it to pick up items such as ammo and health, and it barely serves as more than a ...
