I like to shoot pool. Pool is fun. Me likey pool.
Just looked at The Portable Gamer web site. It's pretty sweeeet lookin'.
Chess? On the iPhone? I'd check it out but I don't think my attention span could handle it. Uhhh, what are we talking about again?
The Portable Gamer Podcast? Hmm, I wonder if I can find this on iTunes.
The dude fixed the submission and now my comment doesn't make sense.
It is pretty cool that Goozex is getting into movie trading.
That *is* the article...
Thanks for the link and the info on the Civ Rev DLC. I guess I just never cared enough to look. By the time the DLC came out, I had already moved on.
Civ Rev is turned based. But they are similar games. Build an army and crush the opposition. Nuts to bolts.
Is it anything like Fight Night? Me likey Fight Night.
I've heard of Tetris, used to play it on the PC at work all the time. Never heard of Lumines though. I'm sure it's good.
Hmm, it was delayed? Wasn't even on my radar.
Still have to play EndWar. But still enjoyin HaloWars. Not because it's Halo, but because it's good.
That's true. Civ Rev can take 3 to 4 hours to play while Halo Wars could be 45 min to a couple hours.
Halo Wars really doesn't have a learning curve or a Tech tree that you have to follow. It does have some specialty units depending on your leader, but that's easy to pick up on. The only thing you really have to master is issuing quick commands to get your troops moving. After that, it's all about pummeling, or getting pummeled.
I know I like updates, but it's not like I lose sleep over them.
Yeah, downloadable games does sound compelling, but like the article states, it's kinda pointless if you don't have a large enough hard drive to store all the games. Otherwise, you have to DL, then delete later for new games, and then if you want to play the game again, you have to DL again; if that's even a feature...?
It's definitely heading in the right direction, but it's still not there yet.
Great podcast!
Good review. I might have missed this game otherwise.
Yeah, after playing the demo and then reading this review I'll probably pass and playing Ninja Gaiden first. Still haven't played that one yet.
I'm waiting on Madden
