tlou imo was a very well made game, my only gripe is the annoying film grain.

thats all gaming journalists are. war reporters news anchors political blog writers, they all look down upon game journalists and should, gaming journalist just post whatever BS they think will get 1000 clicks. journalism was started by the people as a way to fight government or social propaganda, so spreading mis-information is literally the exact opposite of what journalism stands for.

although fans of mgs really like the goofy Japanese humor, for me as a newcomer it makes the game seem kinda dumb. the e3 trailer immediatley made me want the game, then the fulton system made it seem so fake. the cardboard box is pretty hilarious though.

id say 70% of indies are shovelware. 30% make up the no mans sky's and the minecraft's. there are arguably more AAA games that arent bad.
