The problem is more about the plasmas and such having lousy scalers, because the stupid manufactures decided to use 1366x768 which is a non standard video resolution for HD. If you have a 1280x720 or 1920x1080 display you'll get a pretty good picture with the XBOX 360 set natively. Plus 1080p is only on HDMI.

Here you have a very popular movie, requring you to have the old XBOX console... The XBox Ninja Team should be taking out the new releases for the XBOX which won't have 360 releases.
It really bothers me that Microsoft would allow a new XBOX title out that doesn't work on the XBOX 360.
Hopefully the team at some point will complete the emulation to the point were any XBOX game will work on the 360.

My nephwes are on their third PS2 because its cheaper to buy than repair. I don't know of anyone who's on there original ps2. They've all had drive problems.
My guess would be that since all the gamers now know when the Ps3 going to come out and that it will be backwards compatible, the buy replacements for their broken ones, until the PS3 comes out rather than changing platforms.
This is where the hacking community could make itself usefull buy making a emulator...
