The problem is, single player games today only make money if they sell tons, and that only happens if they're top quality. Meanwhile microtransactions can make money off bad sales. We gotta find a new way to make money off single player games in order to save them.
They've been pushing this on us since the weird Chris Redfield face. They made a mistake and refuse to accept it. "Did we mess up some faces? No, it's the fans that are wrong..."
A trailer with a ton of frame drops doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the product.

For crying out loud. White males did not make Andromeda a turd. They gave a huge franchise to a B-team, and they blew it. I'm sure there have been plenty of high quality games made by "white males." What a joke.
If they had made a modern or future game, nobody would have cared about the women. But they chose WW2, and they chose to do it inaccurately. Now they can reap the consequences of their poor choices.
