The reason Nintendo get's away with it is because They worked on the DLC after the game was done and didn't chop away a part of it and make it day one dlc or pre order dlc like most other game companies do. Also The dlc has a lot of content for the money and is released about 5 months after the game release. Nintendo is doing DLC right compared to other companies.
@biggest. You keep your legacy character at release I'm sure of that. But I think I've read that if everything goes as planned you will keep your beta char at early release.

Yeah! Game was amazing and I hope people will buy this game for PC. With that said. Wasn't there news about SEGA joining origin? Do you guys think it will be origin exclusive or will we see the game on Steam and origin? I hope we see the game for both platforms, even though I'm a little bit anti origin and EA because of some bad customer support lately.
I actually find this and vanquish to be the better tps games I have played in some years. Both games are fluid and binary domain actually has a great story. I prefer those two games over gears.
uhm...he didn't mention fortify armor? Fortify smithing. Get 100 enchantment, put perks in 20% better enchantment till you get 100% + 25% more skill enhancement. After that you make 4x 35% smithing improvement set pieces and buy an elixir of Blacksmith (50% better smithing improvement for 30 sec) and improve your armor and weapons. Now you have the most strongest armor and weapon in the game! I have a bow wwith 200 dmg :D
Still playing this game. After 1.19 this game is playable and Ifrit battle is cool. They are adding 4 new classes and is revamping the magic system in 1.20. Can't wait :D
would only be cool if you could import your xbox live arcade games to your pc..That would be rad.
I only liked 1. 2 Was like a gigantic fetch quest :| Wanna try 3 tho.
Buying it for pc anyways. Mods > DLC. At least that's what I think.
I can see it now...You kill someones brother and he will seek vengeance. Epic music commences when the npc starts gearing up for his bitter sweet revenge. But his paths is blocked with danger, love and adventure! When he reaches you, he'll probably die after 3 sword chops and the game will go on...Man...somebody make that into a machinima movie.
Release on Friday baby! Want this game soo bad. I also hope that US get's this game. Even though You may have to wait. Like EU has to wait for most games. At least we had to wait in the past.
someone remember the oblivion demo they showed years ago? where they talked about the npcs traveling to other cities to talk to their friends and talking about non scripted events? Mudcrabs anyone?

I just hope gears 3 has a better story buildup curve than 2. I was like "okay?...WAs that really the last boss? What the hell?". There were no good build up and the more emotional scene in the game was incredibly cheesy and UN emotional.
lol! It was under development for 12 years! Then they scrapped it. Then gearbox picked it up and made it over 2 years. So it's really just 2 years in development but 14 years waiting?
@SuperLupe: Except the exclusives from MS the 2 last years has been bad and they're now focusing 80% more on casual kinect games rather than making exclusive games that matters for the more hardcore gamer. I mean..what other exclusive does MS have this year that's worth waiting for other than gears 3? Haven't played on the xbox the last 3 months. Where are the games?
I don't think jrpgs are going to die ever. There are still great jrpgs coming out, and many of them are hidden gems. I can't wait for:
*Ni No Kuni (level 5 and studio ghibli)
*the new tales game.
*Valkyrie chronicles 3 (please localize this D:)
*Xenoblade (pleas localize this as well)
*the last story (I also want this localized!)
