Criterion has realy started this trens and is showing it with burnout paradise, the only console game i can think of that has free content patches.

The thing about this is mac products are mostly hype, there are many MP3 players that are far batter and more feature packed than the iPod, but walking around with one "is just stupid"
people go Eww zune! when you walk around with one, but not with an iPod cause everyone has one.

look at world of warcraft.....10 million players and many glitches.
thats why i love Sony consoels, i still get great games, for 10 years. ok so here is now i see it, i pay 300$ for the xbox 360 and get a console that is suported for 4-5 years or i buy a ps3 for 450$ and i get suport for 10 years, good deal if u ask me.

From what i heard firmware 2.4 will have ingame XMB and rewards similar to achievements, however on most games the "Black" quit game screen will still be used due to technical probablems.....also some of the more advanced games will reqired an update.
I feel like every dev says that, "The game is better than the demo" when is the demo going to be as good as the game?
