Why would you bother running linux and getting it all set up,most people dont want to mess with there expensive hardware. emu on your computer if you want to play it, you are not going to be able to emu the new version.

There is a standalone installer that is floating around, you do not need to reinstall vista, and is ~500meg :)

Windows 7 is amazing, I think it will be accepted well, and will replace xp, xp is just getting on now, and Windows 7 can out perform it so it might become a favorite for everyone like xp did.
