Than what Sony has done in the past with their graphical filters for the psone games on the ps2. They are simply saying that the nextbox or whatever it will be called will have hardware based graphical doohickeys that will make the current game look better on the newer machine.
Microsoft and Nintendo have nothing to worry about.
