I bet you there is going to be a Gears of war 3 beta and it is going to be attached to the Bulletstorm, the other Epic game this spring.
Therefore they can fix the online issues as well as sell a ton of the new IP,MS loves it as it will sell more Bulletstorm copies on xbox.

I have tried the move and it does work very well. 2 points:
1) I am worried because look how sony forgot about the six axis in games. They had motion controls already and it failed. How will they support move; buy patching it into AAA games (that's a patch move built from the groung up). This back compatible software is going to make them allow to sell ps2 games on their marketplace. Trust me that sounds more like it then them just releasing a free update to allow backwards compatability. They r going to make money on this
Look at the photo of Call of duty 3. Looks somewhat similar. Not saying that the new Call of Duty won't be good. But I am being very careful on how Activision market this one after the steller performace and sales of Call of duty 4.
Since it is not a persistant world users can not view the tropies and achievements when the person is offline. They will have to be invited when the person is online.
