Hey man, nice article, have been playing the Beta quite a bit. The game's a lot of fun in my opinion, I can see all of those factors as points of inspiration for the game.

I didn't realize Blur was being done by Bizzare Creations, either. That's fantastic. Metropolis Street Racer and the Fur Fighters games were some of the most underrated releases for the Dreamcast. Great to see the developers are still around developing original racing games, too.

I've gotten a beta code and am eagerly awaiting the game after your previews. Nice detail in this one on the design of the game's audio. Have never pictured it being done that way, when playing a racing title! Very cool inside scoop.

Man, that must be a great place to work, with the Killer Instinct machine in the office.

Got my beta key right after reading this actually - I'm looking forward to it. It's no Auto Modellista, sure, but I'm still digging its style.

This sounds like a promising enough racer from the preview. Not sure if it's on the level of a Burnout, or Midnight Club game, but I'll probably give the game a rental at the very least. Racing games sure have come a long way in the last fifteen years or so, enough so the older games are almost irrelevant. I like the look of Blur quite a bit, it has a nice, clean looking style, from the little I've seen. Anyway, nice preview, very informative.

I agree, there's not much of a market left for Indie games, but KGB Episode One looks pretty decent. Might have to look into the Indie section for the first time in a while. Perhaps someone will pick up a later episode for an arcade release, further down the road?

Cool article, I like the choices, but have to agree with the above comments: Sonic & Tails are the best duo in gaming.

This looks a little more inviting than RuneScape, to say the least. I'm interested to see what direction Jagex takes the game and what the limitations would be for a free account on an RTS game. If you're playing against people who might be paid members and have access to better units, it might offset the game's balance.

I've just watched the first trailer, spoofing all the game heroes and have to admit I can't help but feel at least a little bit excited to try the game. At least it has a sense of humor about how poorly the original had been received and by all indications, is willing to move in a completely different direction with the Contra-like gameplay. Cajun, I see where you're coming from, but feel that this sequel's a good opportunity to show some humility. As long as they're able to suss out some of ...

Nice article, Serious Sam looks awesome and its good to see more development for WiiWare. Look forward to seeing more Asylum content in coming weeks? :P

Anyway, as far as Matt Hazard's concerned, it seems like the tongue-in-cheek humor of the game's protagonist will help the game coming off the bomb that was the original. I think there's still hope for Bloodbath and Beyond. With a subtitle like that, how could you go wrong?
