The ratings are based in comparasion to other games. First thing most reviewers say is the story sucks then we all know the MP is not gonna keep the vast majority playing over COD,Halo, and BF.
It is fun but honestly I wouldn't play it over the other games on a regular basis.

I remember way back before this gen started sony was looking to lock games and its finally here
competition as far as games in general go. Its not like they had 20 action games and they came up short.
They went up against games with more replay value which this genre isn't known for.
