that the Xbox One reveal wasn't meant to just talk about games? It was meant to show new features/capabilities that will be added, alongside the gaming capabilities. That's what E3 is for.
Just because features are added, doesn't mean the no games can be played on it. I'm definitely looking forward to playing on the new Xbox.
I prefer Xbox Live. The social aspect is awesome as it's like hanging out at the bar with your friends but never leaving your living room. Especially, when your friends are overseas. Too many times, I've sent a beacon on Facebook via Xbox Live, letting my friends know which game I'm planning to play that night, and one by one, they all join the party chat and we get to gaming. All in the meantime, we're all having a couple of drinks along the way. It's really easy to me...
Even though BF3 was shown on the PC, if anyone has played MoH on the console, the graphics are pretty close in comparison. Even though MoH wasn't that good of game, the graphics look beautiful on an LED TV.
that the article only talking about Metacritic scores being better for PS3 games. However, the reverse is actually different when it's talking about sales (I know, I said the evil "s" word) with the Xbox having gained in sales last month while the others declined.
As for me, I don't care what console it comes on as long as the games are good. Although, I only have a 360 right now and will buy a PS3 once they get cross-game chat (it seems I can't live without it). ...
Not sure why everyone thinks that Natal is not a proven technology. A software company would not release SDKs to the public if the product didn't work. That would've been a complete financial disaster if it really didn't work.
Natal is also being released to the PC market. So, the integration of this device could be used to navigate Windows and other programs (all dependent on how individual software developers implement it).
It's just silly to me to see the...
Here is a little food for thought to some of their strategy. If Project Natal will be as good as they say it is at time of launch, then below is what I think Microsoft's strategy is:
1. Mass deployment of Project Natal device across gaming community.
2. MS gets feedback from both end-users and software developers on ease of use to program for and implement the device.
3. Should feedback be positive, it puts MS in a very good position to start deployment of the de...
Wow, I didn't know it was that way off...especially, since the development kits were being shipped out. Although, maybe he meant it will be awhile for software companies to integrate the device into their products. hmmm...
When MS provides number of users, they actually use UU (Unique User) and not user accounts. The UU is based on IP addresses and this is what some websites also use to determine its popularity. However, I'm not sure what Sony uses to determine their numbers.
Actually, the 360 already had photo-sharing last year when the new NXE came out. That was part of the whole update. Although, I'm quite shocked that Sony didn't announce cross-game voice chat and if you have to pay to share photos, that's just plain ridiculous.
...and I agree with everyone that he shouldn't have had that gamertag. That's just asking for it. Now, can we get back to gaming?!

After serving 3 tours in Irag as a Marine, and losing a couple of friends, I wonder why in the hell am I doing this for my country when my fellow Americans can't even put aside their prejudices and take care of each other. Regardless of what their gamertag says, sexual orientation, religion, or whatever else that makes us different. I'm just glad that my fellow Marines that I deployed with don't act this way. In my platoon, we have all types...gays, blacks, browns, and so on. First and fo...
Guys,
Just for your information, all games are for the Next-Gen consoles are natively at 720p. This is due to hardware limitations on both platforms and when writing code for the higher, images begin to fail.
How do you know it would not be compatible with older tv sets? To power on the TV, only a power signal would need to be sent to the TV.
If it has the same setup in the back as a DVR, older TVs will work fine as I plug my old tv into the back of the DVR (Verizon) and the tv powers on when I turn on the power for the DVR.
The heavy hitters on both consoles has always been 3rd party developers so I'm not worried about their not being any games. Especially...
