I agree with you. How long had he been working on this project. How much money had konami dumped into his fancy L.A studio. And after all of this the game was still not finished after how many years. We dont know what happened but i can make educated guesses given development time and then the final game being incomplete. Investors want a return and Kojima doesnt take orders from anyone. Mostly because ori could have been sold as a 29.99 AAA title and not many would have known it was indie. It was a top notch game and better than most long time devs put out
