Instead of asking why you should get one, you should be asking yourself why you shouldn't. If this is successful they will not offer a disk drive for the next console forcing everyone to use their digital store with no resale whatsoever.
if you store the data on a hdd it makes the ssd redundant. The whole advantage to ssd is fast read speeds.

Honestly its better than everyone leads on. It's cool to hate on games right now is all. Granted it wasn't a knock out of the park but again, not as bad as the internet would lead you to believe.

I agree with you, even if they did harsh measures like an equipment, blueprint and currency wipe it would be better than just an outright ban.
