Games in VR have to be rendered twice, once for each eye. Which means you're basically running the game twice at the same time. GTA and red dead barely can run once on top end hardware. Especially so with Red dead. This also explains why VR games launch looking like dated games. I wouldn't hold your breath for this level of VR for quite sometime.
And by the time the library is there... so will new hardware.
What's the harm? More like what's the point.
No gets excited about cg trailers but hardcore fanboi's....
You mean like came out on the ps3 already in the HD collection? Keep holding your breath on 1, I doubt it ever gets the treatment.
Everyone look at @SLiSH83... acting like he knows the legal exclusive contract terms of mgs4. Isn't it cute....
Your point would be valid if Xb1 wasn't the first microsoft system to adopt the practice.. and mostly due to a lack of first party titles. Ps3 did backwards compatibility way better. Ps1 and 2 games... no need for patches. Microsoft's desperate attempt to pad out their console library with remasters isn't impressive.
And some of us patient gamers will wait for, you know.. the whole game to be complete and not just a demo. That and also enjoy it on a superior platform. But carry on.
Now they are seeing dollar signs and wanna nickel and dime us till there's nothing left. They know once the project is over their cash cow is too.
All the haters should just do what I'm doing. Wait for the inevitable Complete Edition to release on steam. You've waited 23 years already... whats 4 or 5 more.
If game 1 is midgar saying its going to be 3 installments is ambitious. I'd expect 4.
Yea, if you like them messing up the amazing pacing of original midgar with filler to justify a full price tag its great.
I'm glad its experts making decisions and not op.
Yup, its a sickening cashgrab. They didn't even market it as portion of the game. Literally nothing on the cover about it being episodic or broken into parts. Deceptive.
2 team, correct @lord_sloth. One just finished RE3....
There's a large number of fans that played it when it was released and still felt it was bad. I'll never understand how everyone can praise it now, yet still get excited when mechanics RE4 killed come back into the series. You can't have it both ways.
There's plenty of older RE fans that felt 4 was trash and want them to instead do code veronica.
yea, because there's so many options available.... /s

Until hardware innovations slow down you're going to have a low adoption rate. No one wants to drop a thousand dollars on a helmet and it just be obsolete in a year compared to what's available. Until this trend breaks VR will never take off.
