porting it shouldnt be to hard, hell they have vc1 models reskin those redo maps cutscnes and speeach
porting ps2= ps3 is harder if you have to make stuff up but textures and maps arem cuh eaiser when you have a base to workfrom

even if sony put out a firmware that enabled this on every machine to stop money going to the pirates, it wouldnt help as someone said, 'i just want free games'
its that attitude that must change, if sony game games away free but did a pay to play system, it still wouldnt work
saddly theres no way to change these 'gamers' mind set, a lot of kids grow out of piracy as they get older, some dont.

put it in the disccode have the latest firmware embedded in the game code the 'disc gets run the code triggers installing both the game and the new firmware, i know you can do hotflashes of bios so you should be able to do something

@below, they could set it up so part of the games 'instal' is actually a stealthed firmware update so you have no choice it installs the firmware but doesnt confirm it until the pc restarts kind of liek some windowsupdates
