i do hate to say it but while pc gpus advance and adcance pushing more transisters on a chip
its windows that bloats the requirments
write a game for linux and it will be faster and have lower specs
cell isnt even near tapped rsx used properly can be more then its generational label would permit.
same with 360 yes you can run higher res on a pc and yes you get 'better graphics' mainly in aa and drawdistance but you payfor it by having much higher...
dont know if you can get them stateside but you 'can' get ethernet wired boxes that utilise the power grid of your house to transmit network data on.. you need two one for each temins of the cable

the halo games are not amazing
halo one was good i enjoyed that on my friends xbox and on pc
halo 2 was ok not great it felt like more of the same and was short and flawed in terms of story and assets
halo 3 i dispise
its ending was pathetic its general story bored me and infact reminded me of the eragon movie hyped and lackluster

ps3s graphics were less harsh glaring in your face

screen tearing i sawnone but thats due to tvs not refreshing fastenough not the console
physics ps3 has a slight edge
framerate i saw slight drops when there was lots of action on both consoles nothing significant

cryengine was high spec cryengine 2 they got slapped for making it to high spec
cry engine 3 they want to base around the next gen most powerful console and unless ms goes laraby+cell it will probboly be sonys

the 360 has no features and no games i want i have a 60gig ps3 a gamecube and a pc i may get a wii it has one game i want as a budget console ms may end up shooting themselves in the foot

anti aliansing smooths those out by blurring pixels along side it more or less
xXx compared to X the its smooths it out but overuse causes framrate drops and can cause other optimatation issues
also in very close up views poorly done aa looks bad if its not likly to be seen they dont bother
