360 and ps3 have the same amount of ram one uses a shared memory pool (360)
the other uses dedicated cpu ram and a shared pool for gpu, ie the gpu can pinch ram the cpu isnt using.
its a 256/256 split for ps3 and a 512 shared pool for 360.... and yes 256+256=512
ps3s system is more flexible considering the speed of the spus ram is allows more idle time for gpu opererations
you do realise that C++ is simply a programming language one used nearly universaly for gaming c++ made quake 3 as well as crysis.
