I loved the hell out of Bayonetta but it just never got to a certain level for me. The combos being so floaty took a lot of getting used to. I don't usually like dial-a-combos but the fact that you could dodge and do uppercuts opened up options.
I agree with all but the boss fights. They still had that annoying random invulnerability like the bosses in the first game. Made boss fights more cumbersome than they needed to be.
Diiiiiire need! I've had fun branching out to other genres but I really wanna go home. Where I grew up. Lol
What I really need is to see some FF characters up in this piece.
Not sure why TF my comment was removed but I agree with edeprez. At the time PS3 was offering a lot of tech in that box.
And every single PS3 model came with a built in HDD. That was new for consoles at the time.
I'm ready for Gamescom.
@Michiel1989
Most people that don't really look for it wouldn't kno about it. There were lots of hints and leaks before the big one that dropped last year before PSX. There was the Twitter pic of Johnny and Reuben that got deleted and Dan Southworth spilling the beans during a panel at some convention.
Tho it has been the worst kept secret this gen. The rumors had me so anxious year after year and event after event. Lol
You kno what, that actually makes a ton of sense. I remember when THQ showed Darksiders 2 and Death had a different animation for his attack that launched enemies into the air. I was convinced it was probably later in the game but just ended up butt hurt by the end. Lol
Why do they still have behind closed doors showings at E3? I never really understood it.
All of Naighty Dog's fans knew so all other assumptions are moot.
Duh! They have been spreading out their offerings across all the different gaming events for a good few years now. E3 isn't the end all be all it used to be.
Capcom won in my book. Finally blessed me with DMC5 (even though I had to watch that trailer a few times to appreciate it) and RE2 looks amazing! Plus more Monster Hunter support.
Inhated the faces at first but they don't bother me anymore. My only concern are the reused animations for Nero's combos. Really hope he has tons of abilities to make up for it and possibly another weapon or 2 to choose from by the end of the game. Hope everything for Dante is all fresh and new for this game.
With much higher sales. I literally laughed when I saw Nier and Tales of Vesperia on stage. They will have some interesting and telling sales figures on the box.
@kneon
I kno what you mean. The only thing I like more about Tomb Raider was the bow. I have a weakness for bows. Lol
A new Onimusha is all my friend and I keep talking about. I was secretly hoping that Deep Down was just gonne be turned into a new DMC or Onimisha. Lol
Most of it was from DMC3 tho and the weapon variety was lacking.
My only worry so far is that there was a leak saying that Nero and Dante play similarly to how they did in DMC4. I'm hoping that just means mechanics wise but since Nero had already been shown with the same combos...I'm kinda scared we'll have DMC3 Dante for the 3rd time.
