I keep seeing "movies maybe".. Maybe on the PS4, as sony has to push the tech to standardize it into the market, but unless MS goes blu-ray instead of DVD, movies ain't gonnna happen on the 720. Unless the movie is only 5 mins long.. then maybe..
Want 1 disc? Just have the 360 version use the same 4-5 buildings on the maps and if there is space left.. a 6th car..

Am I the only one who noticed multi monitor ability? hard to pull off.. but i would love to try the 3 monitor setup.
I know most of you don't understand as are not software developers.. but yes.. the game was designed around 1 version of the SDK and now must be ported to work with the new version. Includes, functions, etc, could change between versions, which require massaging to the code and headers.
In fact.. The nintendo power glove killed controllers so bad that they came back only for nostalgia reasons..

im your standard hardcore casual gamer.. don't play ps3 much.. use it more for blu-ray/divx, but keep buying games.. just keep them coming.. if it's not the newest FPS, I'll buy it..
I've tried to look into this, and from what I can tell, you need a 200Hz TV capable of accepting and displaying 200 frames per sec.. and not that 120Hz/240Hz "guess-timated" frame junk.. apparently, there is a samsung plasma that can currently do it and that's about it.. couldn't find a price on it..
Looks like we'll all be replacing our screens soon if we want 3D (i do!).. best part is most of our TV's (HD of course) could probably do 3D with a firmware/chipset change...
Sounds like product placement in the movie. So whatever movie it is, Resistance 3 probably has a very similar release date..
Tape-out refers to the GDSii files (silicon layout), since back in the day the GDSii files were too big to store on a floppy and internet transfer wasn't really a option, so you would put them on tape backup and ship the tape to the foundry. I've taped out 8 times.
EDIT: Apparently the term is based off using tape to make the mask. Hmm.. learn something new everyday.

Why would someone even want to do this? At least XP works.. well reasonable considering it's a microsoft OS.
So if MS wants to make it a requirement to always be online for all games, does that mean that when you buy a 720 you won't be able to play anything on it till you fork out more for MS online?
