Think of it as an aggressive tussle.
@ THWIP71
Meaning?
It isn't the most watched sport in the world for nothing...
@ Kee
That's your opinion but IMO ever since Euro 2008 it's probably the best sport's sim there is. (only rivavled by management sim football manager).
Admittedly though last year's season/manager mode was a massive let down, and lost many key functions that the previous year had.
Possible that the headsets dongle is used for transmitting the audio and the PS3 itself will simulate the effect of 7.1.
Anyhow more features would be nice. Haven't had anything of note in a while other than the usual security stuff.
The Shinobi character model itself looks decent, but the rest...
Too cartoony IMO.
The fact that it brought motion gaming to the masses is perhaps it's most alluring feature, but does this make it the best controller?
Not IMO.
I bet it will be good too! ;)
Haven't read the book in fairness, but the film was pretty poor.
"Sony probably doesnt have a single game in their entire library that has had a life cycle that Starcraft has had."
Metal Gear Solid. Sony platforms running from 1998-2010.
In general though I agree with what your saying and it is indeed a very stupid comment to make.
@ gunnerforlife,
An even better example - 1997-2010.
It's Begbie! :)
The Story and it's portrayal in both the Uncharted titles is ACE.
My only gripe with both games has been how disappointing the final boss battles (if you can call them that) were.
Ahh!
My apologies, I indeed meant Knights of the Old Republic. Assumed that's what Thrungus was meaning and just typed 'Old Republic', had actually forgotten that that was what the Star Wars MMO was called.
Anyway now that you've brought it up I would also like to heap praise on Battlefront 2. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to play it online and only played online via the PSP version Renegade Squadron.
p.s. I tend ...
'Old Republic' is easily the best Star Wars game in the franchise.
It's a good list... However I would replace 'Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi', with 'Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike'.
Dirt 2 was a great game and played brilliantly. It's only downfall IMO was that it was lacking in content (not enough cars or tracks).
Not enough tracks was probably it's biggest shortfall as this made the career really repetitive.
Haven't been keeping track much but hopefully the game has more tracks than it's predecessor and more race disciplines.
@ rabidpancakeburglar
Just me then? ;)
Same graphics engine, same physics engine, same open world gameplay, same mission structure, same A to B gameplay, same same same same same...
Granted my use of the word same is used lightly as technically they were all essentially updated and improved upon (especially the shooting mechanics).
Don't get me wrong there's no denying that it's a much MUCH better game than GTA IV...
In fairness though, so was Read Dead Redepmtion. Heck in was in an entirely different setting and timeline, yet still managed to feel like a GTA game.
This is in no way a bad thing though as it was a major improvement over GTA in terms of shooting mechanics, graphics and overall story presentation.
GTA IV wasn't a bad game, but RDR was definitely one of my favourite games of last year.
eh?!
The Storyline is what makes the game unique and is arguably the best thing about the game.
Indeed it does. Updates the graphics of the original and also the gameplay mechanics.

I'm gonna be the odd ball here and say that 'the Wind Waker' is the best in the series.
All i want is to be able to play Virtua Tennis, or any tennis game for that matter, in the same manner I played Table Tennis on Sports Champions.
Move controller for 1:1 mapping and the nav controller for controlling the character/player.
How hard is this? It's motion control is so half ass'd I ain't going to even bother.
Can I ask why exactly?
Not being smart just genuinely interested.
It's a shame there no video out in terms of HDMI but hopefully it has DLNA in some form (media server capabilities).
I like that Sony are looking into providing cross platform specific PS games as one package, i.e. Buy fifa 12 on PS3 and get the NGP version also. A small premium possibly but it's better than paying for the same game twice.
Think valve and Portal 2. Wish more game developers/publishers would do this.
