Not any more pointless than other pre-order DLC's imo. The whale oil lamp is kinda funny. It's always as if they are intentionally mocking pre-order DLC lol.
It's one of my personal most wanted games and looks phenomenal.
I bet they said the same for Resident Evil, and look how that turned out.
They feel insecure because GT5 was a disappointment and isn't as fun to play as Forza 4.
This year the campaign will last 5 hours instead of the usual 4. VALUE!
Yes. The Bible (brought to you by Fox News) has taught us that violence, murder and war is ok but sex in videogames is not.
@insomnium2 - Grand Theft Auto IV was better on the 360 than on the PS3 (higher res, better framerates) so I don't see the problem. Same with Red Dead Redemption.
If games as big as Skyrim or Just Cause 2 can fit on one disc I would worry more about the PS3's bottlenecked memory to be a problem for devs when making large scale games.
Same with Silent Hill. The only console survival horror games worth playing this gen have been Dead Space 1&2 and Alan Wake imo.
Funny how no one says the same about David Jaffe. When he runs his mouth N4G applauds him but when Molyneux makes as much as a statement he gets blasted. I bet if his games were on Playstation the tone would be different.
Insomniac left Sony and now they automatically suck even though none of us has had a chance to see or even try their new game. What else is new lol.
"Fantastic mutliplayer."
Not really.
I think you guys are missing something. Windows 8 has the option to switch to classic dashboard with start menu and everything. So that kind of makes your argument mute. Metro isn't forced in any way, it's just a new option and I actually kind of like it.
"They are entitled to their opinion, but why do they moan about it year after year but come review time they praise it. Only seems to further indicate a corrupt industry."
This. I'll take them (more) seriously when they back up their words in reveiws. Bubbles+
The score seems kind of harsh to me. Imo it felt very fleshed out for an arcade game and it reminded me a lot about the old Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance games, which I love. Great presentation and very moody atmosphere. And solid combat mechanics.
The launch models are pretty noisy when watching Blu-rays. Don't know how the Slim is in comparison.
Just ordered Insect Armageddon. It's damn hard to get a copy!
You can do that in Trials Evolution also. We need more games like this that promote creativity :)
"Halo's engine is really fascinating because it does so many different things. It's got this really compelling physics aspect. It's got the sandbox stuff. It's got the open world. It's got the way it streams in environments. It's a big complicated convoluted engine."
It's a thing of beauty. The water physics and lighting seen in Halo 3 and Halo Reach are still impressive today.
Kind of random list.
Where's The Last of Us? I'd probably add in NFS Most Wanted too. Criterion have a track record of releasing amazing looking games.
GTA V doesn't look too shabby either imo.
Never read this before.
"Trophies vs achievements"
"Have achievements/trophies ruined gaming?"
"Top 10 easiest/hardest achievements/trophies"
"Honey, I shrunk the trophies/achievements"
etc etc yada yada bla bla bla hitz hitz hitz...
