Oh I'm not saying one sucks the other is better, my point is that they need to find a way to better combat this kind of thing. If people know they can ddos them and have them down for days whats to stop these attacks from happening all the time now?

Sony has been complete crap when it comes to protecting their consumers this year. PSN had what 3 major down times? Thats inexcusable. Microsoft was able to recover the holiday attacks relatively quickly, I want to know what Sony's malfunction was with it. 3 days is absurd.
Waiting until mid - holiday season of next year to buy an Xbox One. Hoping by then the library is much larger even though it is killing me not being able to play Sunset Overdrive.
Exactly this, not to mention there was about a 2 month span where my PS4 wasnt even turned on. I think the prime time to buy next gen consoles is in their 2nd year. Most games during the first year are still being made for the previous generation also and as someone who keeps old consoles this seems like a much better route to take.
Absolutely not necessary to own a new console in 2014. My PS4 was essentially a 5lb paper weight. Also seeing the holiday deals made me vow to never buy a console on day one again.

What Sony fanboys fail to see is without healthy competition you're going to get garbage games because Sony will get lazy thinking they have a lock on the player base. One of the few PS exclusives that is a must buy for me next year.
Destiny was a fun ride while it lasted, the co-op with friends was enjoyable but in the end repetition and a lack of content killed it for me. There's a plethora of other stuff to play that exceeds what Destiny has to offer. I dont hate the game but I definitely dont have a motivation to ever log back onto any of my characters any time soon.
Good to see Xbox closing the gap, competition means the gamers win with better games!
Destiny should not even be close to being considered a GotY candidate when there's a plethora of better choices out there.

Exactly why I quit playing a month ago. 20 bucks per DLC and this is all they give? Ya I'll pass on that thanks. Besides having way more fun playing FC4, Warlords of Draenor and Dragon Age to even give this the time of day/

I just sold my copy of Destiny due to the DLC being so lack luster and just not worth the 20 bucks. This game definitely opened up big but in the end just became another grind fest that I have no interest in. Honestly I'd rather take the 20 bucks each DLC is going to cost and put it towards a much better game. The fact that Bungie hasnt put matchmaking int the game is a friggin joke.
I put about 60 hours into this game, at first I loved it but as I dumped more time into I grew less and less interested in actually playing it. Destiny is a cool concept and all but I find it very underwhelming and just not worth my time. Especially when there so many BETTER games to play right now like Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age.
Not surprised at all. PSN should be free if its going to continue working the way it did in 2014.
