How do you know they are? This is just a rumour. Remember though. They, Sony, did bring in this tech first i.e the EYE TOY in the ps2. I don't think we will see that type of tech integration but more like seeing an new type of eye toy to go with an upgraded MOVE for ps4.
By 10 year life cycle I think they mean by that they will support it for 10 years, just like the ps2!

Let me say this. It's good to have choice and not only have steam and others dominating. More choice to buy from = better competition between the online stores, so will be great for gamers. But if EA have their own store and are only selling those games on their store. Then that is pure greed, and is not right! Stopping consumer choice. + The PS3 has sold strongly (1 year after 360) and only just behind the 360. People moaned about the original price but remember $599 at the time for a good blu-ray player wad CHEAP!
Hmm Make note StarHawk is included in ps3 2012 line up too. Can I ask though (as you don't really conclude) is it better to have 6-7 NEW ip's out every year or the same 2 IP's coming out every year (make note halo, fable and forza) But qualit too, with Sony games it's not only quantity of games but the quality of them. Nearly every new IP brought in is 80+ on metacritic ... Great article! BTW!
