There are reports that this game costed 200 million to develop and market.. The game sold well but 200 million is 200 million.. Theres your reason.

Microsoft had a sh!tload of momentum coming into this generation from the 360 and they BLEW it... Nobody gives a sh!t about Kinect and whoever mandated its forced inclusion on the xbone should be fired. They should be neck and neck with the ps4 but they shot themselves in the foot. idiots.
Rockstar is doing a really sh!tty job of keeping people interested in this game, waaaaaay to slow with the updates and DLC announcements. The slow announcements may have worked with GTAIV because we were in the middle of last generation. You cant release a 360/PS3 game at the tail end of last generation and expect people to still care when PS4 and XBOXONE games are wowing people almost 6 months later. People have moved on.
