If I read that right (my brain hurt trying TO read the article, mind you), the game WAS to be on both the PS3 and 360 until MS bought whatever dev was making it. Now it's in dev limbo (probably ever since they bought the company).
I think they're saying that the fact that MS could have total say in the project is what's causing the delay. It could be saying that the MS people aren't as kind to devs as they are trying to make us believe they are.....

1. The game is coming out on PC, too, meaning you don't necessarily HAVE to have a 360 to play (or be excited about) this game. You fail already.

The game will also use the custom soundtrack feature, and I THINK (not sure on this) it was confirmed that this will support trophies.

The 360 doesn't get the new instruments until the PS3 does (October 19, when the PS3 version comes out). The exclusivity is only for the core game, not the bundle. Those that haven't picked up the first Rock Band would have to first get the first game with the instruments (or buy each individual instrument separately) before getting RB2.
I'm sure, then, you have yet to hear about LBP, inFamous, Heavy Rain, FFV13 (still PS3 exclusive), Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and GT5-HD Concept. (just to name a few)

What I meant by that was that at least they aren't trying to report the story like some of you guys are.
