Anyone who has played quake to a decently level knows full well the difference between 80ms and 0ms. I don't agree with him saying the threshold for perception of the results of an action is 80ms.
Even today, give me 4 different pcs of 0ms, 20ms, 40ms, 60ms & 80ms, and I could determine them apart just by the feel.
having a constant(minimum) 80ms lag will deter hardcore gamers

I rarely if ever comment on stuff here, although this news post is not a news post. There's nothing 'new' about it - an xbox fanboy getting a momentary soapbox? a viral marketting attempt by microsoft? who knows.
