Good point. People seem to forget Nintendo have been in the gaming business much longer than sony or microsoft. I think they know what they're doing.
The longer sony waits to announce the PS4's price the more people will become impatient, lose interest and opt out for another console.

I like the way Nintendo only allows Wii U users to use Miiverse, it's a great way of keeping out the trolls.
Every 3DS-related Nintendo Direct has been better than any E3 presentation in the past 8 years, so this really isn't a huge loss.
Just keep the Nintendo Directs coming throughout the year with tons of awesome 3DS/Wii U games.
The PC "AAA Blockbuster" movie/FPS consoles can keep E3.

Exactly. People who keep on saying the Nintendo need new IPs are only fooling themselves. Nintendo has more IPs than any other game developer. They don't need any new IPs when they keep on reinventing their existing ones with new locations, art styles, game mechanics etc.

Not really. Sony have been selling off their assets (buildings in America and Japan worth over $5 billion, closing down studios as well as selling off shares in the stock market) just to record a profit this year. If anything we should be worried about sony. Vita is already in a bad position and if the PS4 doesn't sell sony could be in big trouble.

Nintendo will still be at E3 2013, they just won't have a conference this year.

They need to announce a price drop, the 3DS is destroying it in both hardware and software sales.
