It was my story...I don't know how that happened...thanks
on its first day and week...part of the fun is MS revealing how much, I must admit...we'll all know very soon...
and some of you guys still get caught up in "mine is bigger than yours"...the only thing that matters is how the game plays...I used to find it impressive in the PS2 days what developers could pull off on the PS2 in spite of their inferior hardware...more potential causes even more expectations...and scrutiny...
Microsoft wants to make sure it remains the lead platform for third party software sales, and with so many awesome titles, MS wants to make sure consumers pick them up with the 360...it's funny how these analysts don't even blink to see what impact that anything has before they get all "analytical" for lack of a better word...but I guess that's why they are so wrong half the time...and didn't see the Wii coming...I think it was the right time...if they didn't cut price, these "...
I've been seeing this #1 for days and days, and never once was it posted...the minute Lair and Folklore pre-orders were discounted and shot to the top of Amazon UK it was immediately posted...guess someone was waiting for the end of the week...Bioshock is awesome...
very well written...music from Super Mario 3 in a level!...this one might just be that special...
make sure you pay close attention to August NPD...and September...October...most definitely November...and surely December...happy gaming...
and if you disagree with me, make sure you tell me why in November...
we, gamers/journalists/industry insiders need to respect them a lot more than what we are doing now...Bioware probably wanted to show off the dialogue system more than any other feature in this demo...this goes back to what Denis Dyack was rallying about...imagine if you saw parts of Spider-man 3 in little bits and pieces...movies never show the goods until they are done...developers shouldn't have to either...if the game(s) sucks, reviewers will catch it...but only until the final product is...
looking forward to September 25th...good times
you have to look at the average of all scores, not any one in particular...If you look up Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) on metacritic, the highest is 100 % and the lowest is 42 % (Gaming Age)...now what were they smoking?...the overall average is 91%...universal acclaim...wait for the overall average...
It was Game Informer, I believe, where he first down talked PS3 and Vista...now he's still saying the same thing... how many times does he have to say it...console gaming / development, regardless of the architecture, is here to stay...developers have to learn the ins and outs of any platform they work on...that's never going to change...
seriously needs to re-evaluate their decision...UT3 all the way...not saying you can't buy both, but if you could only purchase one...UT3...
Bioware has a flawless track record...the atmosphere in this game is incredible...I'm sure at whatever point in the gameplay this game sucks you in, it will never let go...
but of course you already know that...over 45 million sold and counting...
Bioshock deserves the sales...
amazing feature...graphics are gorgeous...
best console hardware ever produced to date...no way to get around it...beautiful piece of kit...
the most immersive looking racing game to date...
I won't be thinking about the opinions of the cynical folk when every game awards show and online GOTY awards section nominates this stunner...now back to reality...
