Apart from thief their is no game this month that justifies an early purchase of a next gen system. Killzone/DR3 are completed by now and not many will fork out over £50 for an average game like need for speed... Fifa 14 can only get you so far despite my views on that game being broken with its as always lackluster graphics, poor Sega megadrive crowd, bad pre-determined ball placement mechanics (where the ball just speeds up into the keepers hands or off the pitch).

Now make a GTA that is actually fun outside of and after the story missions like San Andreas and Vice City. Let us buy houses to move into, with garages to store our cars. Give us more weapons, more cheats, more clothes and accessories. You cant even buy a watch in gta 5...
Half way through GTA 5 I was thinking that it is one of the best games I have ever played but it soon went down hill from a 10/10 to a 7.5.
I have the PS3 version... any word when I will be able to use it with a PS4???
All these problems with video game consoles do confuse me. You wouldn't hear about these kinds of problems with Sony's TVs or any of their other electronics...
I am still yet to jump into the next gen systems because of this very reason. My PS3 has issues reading discs after only 2 years, this kind of thing is crazy!

Nice screenshots but seeing this game in action doesn't excite me... It looks basically the same but better graphics and different colours, yet if they really bumped up the powers to say being able to fly Dragon Ball Z style I would be very excited. This would also present us with the opportunity to admire those graphics!
Steam have massive issues with broken games. This combined with their no refund policy means that I will only buy games when they are cheap and have been out for more than a month so I can check people's comments to see if they are safe to buy.

The XB1 controller is better, full stop. The problem is that M$ greed angers me to the point that I have no intention on using their better controller as it isn't that much better and i'll be damned if I am to fork out £500 for a console and go buy spare batteries to boot. Fuck MS
I would like to hear in the ME4 world about my character and everything he did... but I am quite happy for a prequel. However, "nothing to do with Shepard" is annoying because a story where you live in a time where Shepard lived would be annoying not to hear or meet him and a story in the future would be annoying not to hear about what he (we) have done in the previous games.
The see battles were fun, yes but what kind of an assassin spends his time as a captain of a ship shooting cannon balls at the enemy? It's not what an assassin does and it is part of the reason why Assassins Creed has lost its identity. An assassin would be in the shadows, slick, silent and deadly. Now in Assassins creed your more of a soldier with some cool abilities.
I agree with you Scrivlar but for me personally having 3 characters to choose between although fun and new prevented me from feeling attached to any character as in SA CJ was your character and you had influence on his lifestyle and overall look. In GTA 5 your kind of on rails in comparison. The graphics are brilliant, fact but the underwater detail felt pointless with the painfully slow submarine and I would have preferred that time and memory to be put into gameplay elements that would have...
A 10/10 game is RE4, Bioshock 1, GTA San Andreas, COD4... why? Because RE4 done survival horror practically to perfection, had a great story etc Bioshock brought a brilliant story and a sense of mystery and great gameplay to a FPS (with a brilliant twist), GTA:SA brought top voice actors like Samuel L Jackson to a game with a great story, a rise from zero to hero for your fully custom character with plenty to do and loads of fun and great cheats. Sorry but this game is far from perfect like every review suggests. Gangs practically do not exist, there isn't enough customization (watches, chains etc scarce to none). Not that fun after the story and online is a joke.
Well it isn't right to be transgender. Sorry to all you who think otherwise but that is my opinion. As South Park showed: you may want to be a dolphin and we can make you look like one; but alas you will never actually be one.
COD is on its way down a slippery slope. I have said that since Jason and co left Infinity Ward. COD makes all this money yet has average graphics - unbalanced weapons (eg smg more powerful than the shotgun then visa versa next month). Lag even with great broadband where someone you shoot kills you first and in the replay you didn't even shoot etc.
This isn't next gen COD but more of the same crap with easy improvements. Come on Titanfall!!!! Own them!
If gay sh*t can be in games then so should sex numbers. What's the big deal, people love to pick and choose. eg masses of gore but god forbid sex in games and tv, gay people kissing but god forbid prostitution... either its all ok or none of it is. IMO... keep it natural - no pay - no same sex - no incest - no cross species. Unless very relevant to the story the developers want to portray.
I'm glad Dead Space 3 and RE 5/6 sucked... These publishers needed to learn the hard way. As if RE4 and DS 1/2 didn't make enough money!! They still had to make their games shitter to get more money - hard lesson but hopefully they will learn and come back with the game we all want.

To some degree it is unacceptable. Why spend all the programming time to make the guns realistic in the way they shoot, feel, the way the bullets hit people, the setting, the graphics and then turn around to a feature that is cool within its own right and say it wouldn't work out.
