@porkChop you aren't kidding! I knew at least 3 of my friends in high school that saved up and bought a PS2 for San Andreas. They didn't even play anything else either. Literally just owned a PlayStation for GTA.
Pretty sure by the time the game comes out you'll have a PS5. Knowing Rockstar I wouldn't be surprised if the game is still 3 years away lol. You make a good point though about next gen not being readily available due to shortages and the cost.
Seriously though what a good point. I'm not sure if it's simply because of the money being made by keeping games on PS4 and Xbox One. Or if developers just aren't able to really push the limits just yet. By year 3 I'd really be expecting things to gear towards next gen. I think the time to leave behind the PS4 and Xbox One should be approaching.
They don't milk me for anything. I've never purchased a shark card, not one. Rockstar certainly isn't the only company abusing micro transactions lol. Also Rockstar doesn't make most of those decisions, it is Take Two that makes those decisions regarding micro transactions etc. We will see if the Rockstar of old is gone, The latest entry Red Dead Redemption 2 was an absolutely amazing game. GTA was amazing too, sitting somewhere around 170 million sales.
To those who continue to bash Rockstar and some of you saying the game looks awful. You are so unbelievably stupid. If you aren't impressed with what Rockstar has done for gaming then you should take a really hard look at what you define as quality. For those of you that say Rockstar had this coming, I don't think you appreciate how serious and criminal this is. Some of you really need to grow up.
Yes playing the first 2 Modern Warfare games back then was special. That's all people do on the internet now is find something to whine about. People are already saying that GTA 6 looks bad lol.
Yes and what are you playing? If COD is so bad that we are sheep playing it. I welcome any studio that can do it better. Plain and simple, it's a good game and it is actually very fun.
