Here is an idea for the next update! Make fully customizable transmissions... fully customizable, not just the ability to change the top speed.
Its funny to think back to the day when I would defend the xbox 360 with my last breath and refused to buy a ps3. Its good to know that I finally decided to buy that ps3! What a great year for ps3 owners next year! So freaking excited about little big planet 2!!! me and my wife had to much fun playing the first one.
I did not read through all these comments so this may have already been said, but the only reason that he thinks its ridiculous is EA would never take the amount of time to put that many cars in a game and only charge 60 bucks for it. EA is a lazy game developer that simply wants to push out as many games as possible in the shortest amount of time so that they can bask in the large amount of money the are getting in the *retards* that runs out and buys every game they release.
Yea I noticed this too. Not really sure why it does this but very annoying at times. And it only does it sometimes... This should deffinetly be fixed with a patch. Other than this though great game!
Could not agree more, I did'nt want to come to work after sitting down and playing. My only complaint is the load time but hopefully that will be fixed somewhat after I do the optional install. I just didn't have time to wait a hour before I got to play it... I will make my wife start the install so its done when I get home :p

The reason GameStop is not doing a midnight launch for this game is because they are opening up at midnight Thursday night to kick off Black Friday and they said they can't "afford" to do 2 midnight launches in the same week.
I could not agree with you more on this Blackburn. Halo fans are the worst. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my Halo games, but I also enjoy my uncharted, resistance and motorstorms too.
However, GT5 is going to suck for one reason! Where is my Mjorlin armor for my cars! And what do you mean I can't sticky the car in front of me! and no plasma swords! This game is pathetic, *sigh* no one told me this was a racing sim....
This game is a driving simulator, while it may not have physical damage you can see it will have internal damage to your car the father into the game you get. So yea, if you hit that wall at 87mph you will regret it. It starts you off slow and gradually increases the difficulty as you play. Also Motorstorm 2 is nothing more than a arcade racer, there is no realistic car handling in that game, sure its fun, but its a totally different style of racing game.

Hot Pursuit does not have anywhere near the number of cars
Hot Pursuit is completely unrealistic as all cars pretty much drive the same

I'm sorry but Forza 3 is not photorealistic, its got decent graphics but its nothing to write home about. The standard cars in GT5 look as good as the cars in Forza! Plus you lost some credibility as a gamer when you said you are going back to your Kinect! *snicker*
My only complaint as so many has said is the cockpit view issue. Yes I know that 200+ cars will have it and all that, but if a company is going to boast about the amount of cars that their game has then the cars should be created somewhat equally. I can understand graphically them not all being the same as that would take laser scanning 1000+ cars wich just would'nt be feasible given the time constraint in doing so. To one of the above posters. I was going to buy a PS3 for FFXIII until I found it was going to be multiplat. However I broke down and got a ps3 anyways because my bluray player sucked (about as bad as FFXIII :/) anyways... I can't wait for GT5!!! getting my fanatec GT3 RS racing wheel tomorrow then its wait time for gt5 :( I guess NFS:Hot Pursuit will keep my entertained until then though.
Need for Speed and GT5! Should have my Fanatec Racing wheel in the next few days. Oh yea!
