It's great to see so many people enjoyed The Order: 1886 after all the negativity it got!

Agreed. That's the best way to approach buying games.

Definitely got the feeling The Order: 1886 was setting up for a series, so it'll be exciting to see where it goes.

*SPOILERS*

I agree. I didn't want to go into too much detail in the review, but I felt like it would have tied things up nicely if Max would have sacrificed herself. Chloe didn't really deserve to die because of Max's mistakes, but I suppose the game got around that by implying that Chloe's death was fated, which is why she died in almost every timeline. Still though, would have been a good ending.

Looking forward to season 2 though!

These screenshots look awesome, but I'm still annoyed about the chronic lack of Australian voice actors.

When Matt and Trey walked on stage, I lost it. I wanted to play a 'Coon & Friends' game the minute I finished The Stick of Truth.

It looked better than I thought it would. I was especially excited to find out you could play as Emily this time too.

Cuphead did look amazing. Can't wait to see some more of it.

I see what you're saying, but I think that it's only tense if the player knows that there's something scary going to happen if they screw it up. Unfortunately, I didn't find the mascots scary, so there was no tension.

I do appreciate that it's completely subjective, and I did say in the review that if it scares you, it's probably a really enjoyable game. The problem is, if it doesn't scare you there isn't much else of the game to go on.

I see a lot of comments saying 'But emulating isn't that easy', but I fear this is missing the point of the article.

Microsoft and Sony decided to not include backwards compatibility (I'm not an awfully technical man but I take from the feedback that this would have been very difficult) which, if you guys are correct, is fair enough. What isn't fair enough is publishers like Square Enix then taking the opportunity to re-release all of their last-gen games ...

I'd agree with that actually. It did railroad the player a little bit. It also had a couple of really annoying cases where you had to pick from two or three suspects with not much to go on, even though it turned out none of them were guilty. And the real killer turned up on a few of those cases. It should have given the player the opportunity to question him and possibly arrest him earlier, if they were clever enough to suspect him.

Thanks for reading NixonMonoxide :) Check back next week for my riveting preview of 'Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor'. I've heard it's got orcs in it, and it's got something to do with an evil ring that everybody seems wary of. More to follow.
