I don't get what all the PS3 hate is all about. Why do people want to hate it? What did Sony ever do but deliver two great consoles still the best hand-held (in my opinion) and a third that's even better than all the previous with outstanding games out and on the horizon. Getting the recognition it deserves. I think we all got sick hearing the PS3 crapped on in 2007. I'm glad 2008 is starting out so strong for it and now everyone is coming around to see how great the PS3 is. The future is indeed looking bright. I smell revenge on the horizon upon all the doubters and criticizers.
Every new piece of info on this game gets me more hyped. I am looking forward to this more than any previous star wars game. The physics are looking tight. I'm still wondering how they will handle the control scheme with seemingly so much you can do with the force and your lightsabre.

With PS3 STILL having the best line-up in 2008, PS3 outselling 360 in 2007 WITHOUT those games, more and more positive articles coming out for the PS3 than 360, and new falcon chips still failing at high rates.

The "tad bit shorter" are you serious? I beat gears in just under 5 hours (I've heard others do it faster) where as I stopped counting with resistance at 12 hours. You're right XP is a great OS... now. When it first came out it was riddled with bugs and took a while for MS to make it right. Same with 360 and they still haven't made it right. Now Vista has the same story. I personally don't like their business model of selling garbage products. I would have a 360 if they didn't break all the time. However I think they will continue to do just fine as a company for a long while.
They are still posting huge profits but please someone explain to me why they can't make quality products that ACTUALLY WORK. XP sucked when it launched and took years to sort out. 360, well we're still going with that broken mess no matter how much denial and supposed pawnage the xbots claim. Now Vista is showing up broken more and more. I'm still on XP so I can't speak personally but I keep hearing about the bad situations. They need to quit being cheap with all the money they're getting.
Still have several games for it. Virtua Fighter rocked on 32X. But I still have my Atari, nintendo, sega(32X), PS, PS2, and now PS3. The Saturn never appealed to me though.

I'm worried about the launch of Home. Everybody connecting and being on at once suddenly could lead to big problems. I know they are planning for this and taking lots of extra time to get it right but it only takes one glitch to shut it all down. Here's hoping that when it finally does go live it will handle all the people.
See that, PS3 people do buy games. Uncharted is way over a million now and AC over 2 mil. R&C hopefully breaks a million soon because it deserves it. I thought it was just a kid's game at first but after playing it through twice I really like it. Heavenly Sword deserves a million too.
It's good that developers are seeing that PS3 people do buy games although I was never really worried about them pulling away from PS3 development anyway.
