Xbox360 owners have been adamant from the beginning about not wanting Blu-ray and consoles being game machines not movie players.
They are not afraid of "smacking" their customers. Still I don't see blu-ray coming to 360. Never know though.
It's a great game and should have sold better. The online is a lot of fun.

Better textures and lots more happening on screen in Ratchet. Bring on ACIT please.
I don't think it's Wall-E level but definitely Toy Story 1/2. Plus all the things that go on in the game that don't in the movies. The amount of things in R&C Future on the first level alone were amazing. Can't wait for ACIT.

But when Dom found Maria I nearly cried. That was rough and the game's saving grace. Very touching. The rest of the game really was bland to me though.
Naughty Dog had writers come in if I'm not mistaken and I think they should all have writers. They have professionals develop the music for games and it wouldn't turn out good if developers tried to do it so I think writers is the way to go. Although the Force Unleashed was very well written.
I actually hate that Resistance 2 and Battlefield BC have kill amounts because I already know I will never get Platinum in those games.
I'm addicted to that little "ding" when I get a trophy. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Mirror's Edge platinum was impossible. Glad you had an easy time with it but I couldn't get any of those speed runs or time trial things for the life of me and eventually gave up. Even after watching people online and setting checkpoints for myself doing exactly what they did somehow my time just never was what theirs were and the game would eventually punk me everytime too. I loved the story mode of that game but the rest of the trophies were so frustrating.
It's not too hard to get and the game is just a joy to play anyway. I'll admit crushing can be crushing at times but just stick with it.
I got several unlocks in Home because I got the inFamous Platinum. I'm sure other disc-based games will follow suit but mini-games in Home already have unlocks to them.
Strange I could have sworn lots of people said this was going to wither and die :P
The way to squash this kind of thing and make sure it does not progress to more extreme forms is to refuse support from the start. Hopefully not many go for this because it could lead to more severe forms across other games.
Try to spin it any way you want but features or not you CANNOT play on live without paying and that's the bottom line.
