Thats cool, you shoukd only buy what you can afford and justify purchasing and as you say, obviously dont buy something you wont use.
In reference to if the Xbox one x is worth it without a 4K / HDR TV(the article) what are you trying to say?
4k displays are not better than HD displays by default.
I have a 1080p plasma which exibits no ghosting and has very low input lag, great colours, inky blacks, looks fantastic when watching movies and superb for gaming.
Hands down beats many displays out there....why would I want to upgrade just yet.
Now if I could continue to play games on this display along with my other 1080p DLP projector without the need to upgrade to a 4K display, that wou...
sold out
I'm a single player gamer who cares not for online gaming. So bottom line, the decision not to buy GT Sport was made easy by way of the developer deciding to forgo people like myself. Gran truisms 3 was the last time I played a racing game to death on a PlayStation console, fond memories and good times. I miss the days when slow progression were key to success and cars were earned rather than gifted for seemingly no reason at all. Even though I've had fun with you, Forza + Horizon I...
Quantum Break was/is a brilliant game. Different strokes for different folks. As much as I love the wake games I'm glad they actually went for something new. It's just a shame the game doesn't resonate with the populace in the same way it did for me. The unfortunate reality for my favourite flavour of gaming is that it might just go the way of the dodo bird. Single player story driven campaigns are now becoming a dying breed. Even if it was an Allan wake 2 the end result would hav...
It says it will fit in the dock but they also supply the product with a screen protector.
My Tethered glass is 3-4mm, screen protectors (1mm) are substantially thinner and when you consider my switch with its tethered glass is already tight enough in the dock I hope it still fits with the nylon thin case installed on top of it.
Hopefully it will work/dock with tethered glass as well. Looks good...
You have got to be joking, right?
quieter fans....
I've put approximately 12 hours of my time into this game and I only just completed act 4. I've re-played, re-watched and sometimes just sat back in awe. It is a ground breaking game, a game to be savoured and appreciated in it's entirety. Reading and watching everything in the game is of paramount importance, so those who just fly through it won't get the same sense of scope as those of us who do.
I oppose the views of this author and hope REMEDY continue to ...
Multiplayer is slowly killing off single player story driven games.
So no to multiplayer for me I much prefer the time, effort and dollars be put into the single player mode.
Absolutely, otherwise what will be left when every other game is a clone of another.
QB is an all round brlliant package. The only thing I don't like is that it will end. I just hit Act 5.
I still have my original phat PS3, purchased at launch and lucky enough to still have it working. I still use it to play PS2 games as my original PS2 has issues reading some disks.
My PS3 was expensive at launch - March 23 2007 - $1000 AUD, as far as consoles go. When a year earlier you could purchase an xbox core model for approx $499 AUD or $649 AUD for a premium.
Once Sony killed off some of the hardware features(bc hardware + usb & sd ports) from the ...
Maybe they express a lack of interest in it because their system of choice does not offer BC functionality? but the PS4 could very well be powerful enough to do it.
Who are we to say it can or cannot, we are but armchair devs stating this that and the other. Even when Sony say it themselves do I beleive it? No chance, it would be akin to shooting oneself in the head.
The resources and effort required in solving the BC software emulation puzzle isn't neces...
Absolutely agree with you on the kids and BC in general, it is a fantastic addition.
But Sony spent alot of dollars on BC and unlike Microsoft have ongoing costs surrounding infrastructure with their BC model so there is no way they can go back to offerring it for free. It is unfortunate but even if they could emulate it, one would question the motive for Sony emulating now....
It doesn't make good business sense, outside of competing and on consoles sold...
People, think outside the box.
BC is the future.
Creating an everlasting ecosystem of software and games that will run on future iterations of console hardware will one day change the console gaming scene forever.
Once this is acheivable....
Why would anyone in their right mind want to move forward with technology at the constant expense of starting over (library)?
Great franchise....can't wait to get stuck back into R&C.
Looks like it's being well received and it looks like good fun.
You are entitled to your opinion but I have more than enough space for almost every console released in my lifetime 40 years(collector) and I appreciate being able to play my xbox 360 games now on my xbox one, as do my kids. Not to mention the joy of playing a game such as Alan Wake without feelling nauseous as the BC version has zero screen tearing and an improved frame rate.
And no I'm not being literal about the nausea....
So BC can be much more than ...
How anything extra provided to you for free can be considered anything but great is beyond my comprehension. Extra functionality at no cost is always a good thing for us.
And whilst some games don't run as well as they do on the 360, some do and then there are those that run even better. Like in the latest batch of additions.
Alan Wake and American Nightmare which were both free for people who preordered Quantum Break are two games that play better on xbo...
As always....Gears Of War trailer perfection.
As good as this is GOW 1 and Mad World is truly a hard act to follow.
Cannot wait for this, trailers given me goose bumps, I'm pumped!
Certainly would still look awesome, hence my enthusiasm for the One X even though my plasma is still my main port of call.
