How can you say Alan Wake was overhyped when there was no support for the game in advertisement. The game was one of the best games made imo and would belong in the underhyped list as that and Red Dead is what hurt that game. if you have not played it, rent it, or buy it, as its everything and more that remedy Promised.
I agree on the graphics. I'm playing infamous now and that game other then the effects could have been done on the ps2. Nothing real special.
I still see a lot of people who buy the ps3 and have no online. I really don't think the ps3 could function well without it. I suppose Sony may have a update disc for the firmware but u would be getting one every week. The point is the game was a great concept but don't release it if you are going to turn around and patch the controls. I could be wrong but its almost as SP is trying to appeal to even more gamers by going with the cleaned up look. The uncharted comment might be dead on. Either way as long as they keep the gameplay fun and stay original like the first they will have another true winner.

Ok here it is Uncharted can't be done since its exclusive to ps3 that is it. The 360 can do cartoony graphics very easy and if its muti it would even look better. Now killzone. The first one sucked and the second was better and I understand why ps3 guys are excited since its your first real shooter on the ps3 that's good. And the load and installs are the same in most of the games. The reason for this is bluray is slow and its no secret. As much as we tout br as being so great it really takes gaming a step bacck as well. I'm not saying multiple dvds are the answer either but its sure a heck of a lot quicker to change my disc then waiting on the slow ass ps3. Sorry if this bothers some of you but it is the truth. I for one and many others I know when you get off this clan of ps3 users on n4g that don't percieve the ps3 as a good value. I have bought three ps3's now and 2 360's and I just look at the ps3 as a overpriced computer. Its very slow, psn is downright ugly and full of issues. And the tripple a games are nice for one pllaythrough but very few games show replay value and don't get me started on all the damn installs and firmware updates that take forever and I have a cable modem...

MS does say that by the time Kinect launches they plan on fixing it so you can play sitting down as well. so that should not be a problem.

Why is anyone debating this with the hardcore. Ps3 gamers that think this is bad are sure forgetting something: and that is " 599 U.S Dollars " so you can play " Riiiiiiidge racer!" and have giant " Enemy Crabs" LOL and you guys are yelling about Kinect being 150 with a decent bundle. just wanted make sure you dont forget Sonys great pricing and the Move is no better priced.
Ps3's online is so last last last gen its not funny. It should be a beta since Psn is so incomplete. As far as PS3 operating system and its installs and loads is just pure crap. What takes 5 sec to install on live takes 30 minutes on ps3 and anyone that uses both knows this is true. I really guess the only reason you put up with it is that its free. Oh I forgot they are trying to charge for some of it now.

Unless you dont play games, dont like games, or all ready own one or the competition does there part and stays competive which they will so there are plenty of reasons why someone might not invest in a ps3.
Man this guy is a prick and maybe even greedier then Kotick. The industry needs a change but that is a clear indicator of the way not to take the gaming industry. 60.00 is a lot of money but we will gladlly pay it if the games are worth it and thats why namco is loosing money.
You guys seem to think a 360 rebought does not count and it sure the hell does. A sale is a sale. And if a persons console dies and they go right back and buy another one that shows you they are either f uped in the head or maybe its a truly amazing experience.
Forza is the definitive as it has no competition. Gt5 finaly may see light of day but its a little and to late to compete with the last Forza.
