Flawless is in the eye of the beholder, pre-patch at least the game suffered from massive frame rate hitching when moving fast in vehicles and the game had to have the worst mouse acceleration I've ever seen in a game to date which at the time was a bitch to turn off completely requiring some serious effort in editing directory files.
@ Cindy-rella
It's interesting you talk about pc ports being shitty.
Your games are generally 30 fps capped (not even stable regularly) and it's a sigh of relief when you get 1080p. The few games that you do have at 60 fps have a high variance in their fps and the resolution gimped.
Lets look at some game examples;
Watch Dogs PC - poor performance and lack luster visuals are the two main issues usually brought up but ...

(My comments about the hololens when it was first announced)
More disappointment to follow guaranteed.
This article should simply be removed for completely false information...this will do nothing at all in improving your fps...
I call people like you childish...Two points;
1. Never did I give my position on the graphics downgrade, all I've been talking about is honesty within companies.
2. Do you not feel embarrassed when you say something like "graphics whores"? It's only something I can envision coming from a child's mouth.
Very clear to me you didn't even bother reading what I had to say considering I addressed your very position in my f...
Almost no gameplay but from what I saw seems like a dark souls type game with that clunky movement and a resident evil 5 perspective. Disappointing... was hoping for a devil may cry style game.
I wouldn't necessarily say nice guys tbh. Whatever your position on the graphics downgrade (in favor, against or not caring), the fact of the matter is is that they definitely weren't as forthcoming about it as they should've been until the topic got so hyped up that they needed to (mostly) admit it.
I like CDPR in general but regardless dishonesty is still dishonesty even if it's from a company that generally has good practices, try to bear that in mind befor...
"How Dragon Age: Iinquisition Made me an Insatiable fan of Bioware"
Interesting...had the complete opposite effect on me.
"Was Uncharted 4 Purposely Delayed?"
One of the developers tripped over a cable and accidentally delayed the game.
Played it and it's just simply...boring, the executions are actually kind of underwhelming (most of the time he would just shoot them). Nothing else to do in the game except kill people.
I either wanted it to be hilarious in its ridiculousness or actually truly brutal in its depiction of mass murder just to see how I would find the "experience" but sadly it fails at both of these.
Ah well the trailer was at least interesting.
"that’s kind of why 30 fps works fine, since at 30 you are really close to how you see things in real life, of course 60 fps is the icing on the cake because at this speed you can’t tell the difference, everything will look as fluid as it does in real life. Anything above that is overkill, you really can’t tell the difference past 60 fps."
That's completely false...the human eye can see a perceptible difference well beyond 60fps and studies show that a person ca...
No worries someone will mod it in at some point, of that there is no doubt...
Is it just me or is the English incredibly broken in that article? I felt like I was reading something that google translated.
Your logic isn't really sound as without consoles, I wonder where the majority of the console player base would go...
Buy a PC then and you can choose your own CPU ^_^
It's really a catch 22 situation unfortunately that consumers are caught in. We want AMD to do well and we want AMD business practices (non proprietary tech) but we're obligated to buy Nvidia products since they're the only ones with tech that's exclusive to them and have the connections with so many developers which results in equivalent Nvidia GPUs running better in games.
You look at TressFX, Mantle, Freesync. None of these are locked of from Nvidia but G-s...
I'm confused how can this method work for Nvidia users in terms of getting what I assume is a watered down/simpler version of hairworks but with a smaller performance hit?
So these people complain that women aren't represented enough fairly in video games but as soon as too many developers (in this authors eyes) start "representing them fairly" it's now considered exploiting feminism...
He's essentially saying Ubisoft has done the right thing but for the wrong reasons and they should consider the morality of their choices. Companies are intrinsically amoral so to expect that from them is ludicrous.
It'...
That's ridiculous...they've tested keyboard and mouse vs controller users before and have found consistently time and again that KB&M has a significant advantage.
Just think about it, the time it takes you to do a 360 camera turn is limited by the maximum speed at which the analog stick allows you to turn it, mouse has no such limitation. With a mouse I can precisely click exactly where I want to shoot on the screen while an analog stick can only aim with a rough ...
