you're correct actually. Every Gears game sales 6 million copies on XBOX alone. Also the metacritic is higher for Gears of War.
People can talk all they want about other engines including CryEngine3, Frostbite 2.0, or even the ones who wishes that Naughty Dog would come out with an engine. The fact remains that there is no engine that is as successful as the Unreal Engine.

Also I just want to point out that all the games that has gotten perfect scores in the last year has deserved them, except maybe not Final Fantasy. But Skyrim is huge and amazing, Skyward Sword in my opinion is the best Zelda game I have played.

The fact that PS3 has been outselling the X360 the entire year, your prediction in useless. Well now they just made this game suck to snipers like myself. The point of being a sniper is to be unseen and tactically kill your enemy with one shot. I can understand some snipers not being a oneshot kill but now they just made them pretty much useless. People want to complain because they go out in the open and get killed.
