If they use the mpeg-2 format on Transformers then I will just stick with DVD!!! There are so many movies they have put on mpeg-2 that have terrible noise in the PQ. Just look at the movies Click, Hoosiers, House of the Flying Daggers, Underworld:Evolution, all the SAW movies except 4. Hopefully they use AVC or VC-1 then it will look fine!!!
I just wish the studios would stop making blu-ray movies in MPEG-2 that looks like crap and starting using a real HD format! It seems the movies done in MPEG-2 have a lot of noise in the picture and look worse than a regular DVD upconverted! The Die Hard set is done in another format for Blu-Ray and it looks AMAZING for even some older movies!

Its kinda of funny though that if you go to the UK amazon site, NONE of the HD DVD studios are hiding there name but the Blu-ray companies are!?!?

Just because I bought an HD-DVD doesn't mean I am a fanboy! I bought an HD-DVD player because I feel it is the better product since its standard was created from the beginning and not beening changed every 6 to 12 months.
