It only matters to the less than 10% of actual gamers that go online and complain about this sort of thing.(Me being one of them) Little Timmy's mommy is still going get him his COD fix on whatever platform he wants and the game will still sell more than enough to justify them not actually doing anything different year after year. It has, does and will continue to look like shit until enough people stop buying it and either force them to upgrade or dump it completely.
I definitely think there will be a lot of gamers that hold off. I know I am, but with that large of an install base it should sell more than enough units to more than justify the cost of optimizing the game to play on current gen systems. if it is as great as we all hope it to be. I just cant see them turning away profits like that from an overall business plan.
With the install base of the PS3/X360 being roughly 150 to 160 million units it makes no sense whatsoever to delay the game 6 months and only release it on the Next gen systems that will have an install base of maybe 10 to 20 million combined by that time. They most likely delayed it due to current gen optimization and the need to release away fro AC/BF.
Where the hell is Rainbow Six: Patriots on that list? It is still set to release in 2013 according to the trailer on the games official website. Has anyone heard anything on this title? I am pretty sure I read an article recently that they finished up development on the multiplayer portion but now I cant seem to find it.

according to this ad for voice actors. They have to submit a photo. Wich seems odd for straight voice over work but I could just be reading in to something that isn't there all though it would explain facial mo-cap.

Bad Company as a franchise isn't going anywhere. EA announcred earlier this year that Bad Company is now a stand alone franchise and that ther will be a Bad Company 3
Although I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last DLC pack for Bad Company 2
So basically What there saying is they want there fanbase to fund there game development and then they want to charge the same people funding the developement of the game 60 more dollars to play it and then 10-20 dollars more for dlc all wich is paid for by us.
According to the Beta voucher I got from Gamestop the Beta should begin at 11pm pacific time on the 19th. Those vouchers have been wrong in the past but it's the best info I got until they say something otherwise,wich I am sure they won't.

I loved the new COD Beta and already pre-ordered but when it comes to large scale warfare Battlefield has nothing to worry about. The Ground War mode was an absolute mess. It may play better in final release but it is no competition for what Battlefield brings to the table in regards to overall scale.
I specifically went back and played some battlefield 3 and 4 for comparison and Ground War does not even compete with battlefield for large scale gameplay
