I'm in the same boat. I just can't get hyped for a game based on concept work. What will get me excited is long gameplay videos to demonstrate the game.
Might be a bad example but it's like seeing a picture of a sexy girl on Facebook but when you meet them in real life, they aren't that great.
The publisher or game developers don't get the full $60 or so has a few dollars has to go to the store that distributes it or else the retailer won't make money. I'm not sure exactly how much retailers get from the full price but the projected sales of 3.4 million was probably as estimate to how much sales they needed in order for a proper sequel or to have enough for development of the next game.
What I don't understand is that this game is still selling on Steam. Sometimes you just have to accept the fact that there are idiots in the world.
BF3 in terms of mp was a disappointment to me compared to BC2 due to the camping that the game had and some unbalanced aspects but it was still an amazing game.
From what I've seen, the story looks to be a lot better than what BF3 had and the rumour of it having full destruction like BC2 just makes it even better.
Lulu's hot!
Why do shit human beings exist? I follow Ken Levine's twitter and most of his tweets are jokes. His trying to be a funny and out-there sort of guy.
He definitely doesn't deserve this sort of treatment.
Both version's voice acting are superb with some instances in both that just don't work or are crap like the english Aerith. Absolute no emotion. All Disney characters just fit better with their english voice acting counterpart.
@HammadTheOne
Totally agree with you, MW and MW2 were the last good CoD games. Black Ops 1 and 2 and MW3 were all trash, to me, that's when the rehashing of the same product started occuring.
I'll hold my judgement on whether this is real or not for when GDC occurs but to me the trailer looks to have too much production value for a fan-made to me.
I remember when EA was better than Activision, but now Activision have taken the back seat and EA have become the kings of a pathetic company.
Gaming publishers don't even care about their consumers anymore, they only care for their ego.
That's also what I thought. Instantly got excited from the picture resembling Persona 3 but then realised it's a new game for Vita. I seriously need to buy a Vita, don't want to miss out on any new games.
Most if not all games this gen practically run at 720p 60fps. Sacrificing that 1080p for the 60fps.
This gen didn't standardise 1080p 60fps but next gen definitely will.
How about no.
Why Cortana? Is it because she's a naked projection?
The game isn't bad but the controls for me were broken.
The introduction of new architecture and technology is definitely a step towards the right direction for PC gamers to start praising Sony for letting developers create multiplatform games on a much more efficient and powerful system. This means that PC games whether ports or not will be a step up in graphics compared to the previous gen. But this will eventually die down and PC hate will begin again when the PS4 or Nextbox720 reach the end of the life cycle.
Not surprising. Shouldn't be that amazing either.
@Dylila To me it's not that the PS4 embarrassed PCs it's just that the games embarrass PC. It's up to developers to create the game and if developers are just porting some half ass game from console to PC of course it's going to be limited and look like crap compared to if it was PC exclusive with real effort placed into the game. We all know that a game built 100% for PC would have to be dumbed down just to run on a console. I'm sure Killzone would run amazingly on PC if ...
The only game I was tricked into buying before the release date was Battlefield 3 for me. The game didn't meet my expectations. I pre-ordered Dishonored and I've pre-ordered Bioshock Infinite. Dishonored met my expectations and it was amazing. Do we even need to ask if Bioshock Infinite is going to be amazing?
The game was worked on for a lot longer yet it came out a lot worse. FOR ME the biggest reason is that it tries to introduce too many new things which they should've done in those spin-offs and fixed the issues for 3. The polish was there it was just that the concept didn't go too well. Characters, story overall gameplay was dull. Combat was unferior to brotherhood or even 2.
Connor was badly voiced, story was too rushed over a long period of time. The setting was go...
From what I saw, the water, animations, facial features and particle effects from smoke and fire and lighting definitely looked better than BF3. To me the environment textures looked like they're reused from BF3.
